By accessing or using RationRefill ("the Service") at rationrefill.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

RationRefill is a free, web-based food storage and expiry tracking tool. It allows registered users to:

• Record food items, quantities, best-before dates, storage locations, and categories
• View colour-coded expiry status for their inventory
• Search, filter, and sort their stored items
• Receive optional email alerts about items nearing their expiry date

The Service is provided free of charge. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time with or without notice.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information when registering
• Keep your password secure and not share it with others
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
• Take responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement.

We reserve the right to refuse registration or terminate accounts at our discretion.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of the data you enter into RationRefill (your food items, locations, categories, etc.).

By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and transmit your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter. We do not verify or validate the information you record.

6. Food Safety Disclaimer

• Best-before dates are indicators of quality, not necessarily safety
• We are not responsible for any illness, loss, or damage arising from food consumed based on information in the Service
• Always use your own judgement when consuming food — if in doubt, throw it out
• The accuracy of expiry tracking depends on the accuracy of data you enter

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be available at any particular time or location
• Any defects or errors will be corrected
• The Service is free of viruses or other harmful components

9. Limitation of Liability

• Loss of data or inventory records
• Loss of profits or revenue
• Personal injury or property damage
• Any harm resulting from food consumption decisions made using the Service

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which, as the Service is free, is zero).

10. Service Availability & Data Loss

We make reasonable efforts to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uptime. We recommend you keep your own records of important inventory information. We are not liable for any loss of data due to technical failures, server issues, or discontinuation of the Service.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time by contacting support@rationrefill.com.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, without prior notice or liability.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately and your data will be deleted.

12. Changes to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove features of the Service at any time. We will try to provide reasonable notice of significant changes where possible.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
